Bradleys’ now offers electrical machinery load testing. Our capabilities have expanded into generator(alternator) testing in accordance to IEEE 115. Segregation of losses and efficiency evaluation can be performed. Machines in the range of 6-8 megawatts can be tested at rated voltage and current simultaneously using the zero powerfactor method. Any rpm, 3600 RPM and below can be accommodated. Voltages up to 13KV possible.

Additional methods are used to determine efficiency. IEEE 115 has standardized testing to accurately determine synchronous machine efficiency.
